My Creative Enterprise Venture

My Creative Enterprise will still be a magazine with a focus on both creative writing and reviews for games, films, movies and books. I hope to attract customers with these reviews on popular and underrated culture and then inspire others to get creative and make their own stories. With the feedback, someone mentioned to extend the short stories section, and I will extend it to include more stories and some tips for creative writing. The magazine will also include news about important topics, such as COVID-19, and the local area. I hope to advertise the local area, as to gain more tourists, as this could help the local businesses who may advertise in my magazine.

The reasons why I wish to start my own Magazine business, which will employ others to write articles with shares of the business until I can afford to pay them minimum wage, is because my dream career is to be a writer. Not only will it fit in with my career, but I have found out that those in my generation and age group do not have a magazine dedicated to them. There are hobby magazines from Xbox, PlayStation, SFX, Doctor Who to name a few, but there is not something for a broader range of audiences, especially young adults. I also have not seen any advertisements for literary magazines, and before this course I did not know what workshops or magazines were available for this hobby. With the course of creative writing no longer in colleges, I hope the magazine could give advice, guidance and help publish others short stories which may help them reach their dream goals of creative writing. This is a magazine I hoped to have available, especially in my local area that lacks a cultural and creative reputation.
