My Planned Creative Enterprise
My planned
creative enterprise is a magazine publishing company with a focus on
short stories from the potential
readers and some other
topics that young adults could be interested in. These are game reviews, movie reviews, book reviews,
important topics, job opportunities and reviews on local entertainment, such as
events or museums. I have noticed that for my generation there are no
magazines of collective interest, so I have decided to target young adults in the hopes to get them interested in
magazines Also, as there
is little opportunity of creative writing
courses for young adults, especially in college, something that will give advice and give more choices to be creative could interest a great deal of people. Many people tend to start a novel as a hobby, and I hope to help them realise their potential and get
their work out into the world. The magazine will have monthly issues, likely have many
articles free online and will have a subscription for printed copies. The magazine will be written by people I know and I. I will also edit the magazine's content, its cover and layout of pages. The enterprise will start of small until the funds can be accumulated and used to develop it. The magazine will have local entertainment as to advertise the area we live in, and will likely pull its first customers from the area. This is useful for the area as there is not much in the means of advertisement for the area's events, culture and creartive writing. Only a search on the closest libary to me's website showed a creative writing workshop, and I would not have stumbled upon it without doing a specific search. My magazine, will hopefully be useful in shining a light towards local events, creative writing and local talent.
